�����Below are some selected pics of things growing in my yard during my first gardening season, in 2007. I had some successes and some failures. But as always, it was enjoyable to get out and work the soil.
Zinnias and cosmos from seed, and a row of Cannas produced a nice effect this year.
Managed to grow some Hibiscus from seed on the new yard.
The mums started out tiny and really grew.
I was sweating over those blue flax, but they made it, along with the Mums and the Bee Balm.
This Thompson seedless grapevine got a late start, but put on a good spurt of growth finally.
For my first edible plot, I planted Tomatoes, Bush Beans and Carrots.
Finally got an indoor garden started - on my old dining table.
